Great Product September 29, 2015 Reviewer: Steve Cates from Quitman, TX United States   Purchase three units for two outside doors and an interior door along with three extra receivers.  Over a dozen different chime tunes to choose from.   Now Mom knows when Dad is going out or when anyone else is coming in.  Receivers are loud enough to easily hear but not scary loud.  When Mom goes outside to work on the flower beds, she installs a Receiver on the front porch and changes the sound mode to Siren.  If a door is opened then, the Siren continues to go off until the unit is set back to chime.   We couldn't be more satisfied.

I had trouble ordering it online and a manager called me after hours to finish my order The alarm does what it says.  But the unit that I got only worked sometimes. I am sending it back but expect to get one that will work.  this is what I am looking for so I will keep at it. .

The door alarm from the alzheimer store worked fine. The only negative comment is the chime is not real loud even on the highest setting.

Door Alarm: Monitor with Remote Plug-In Alarm July 15, 2015 Reviewer: Karen Harvatin from Sleepy Hollow, NY United States   Several of our residents have used these alarms in their independent living apartments.   They have enabled residents with dementia to continue to live in their apartment with a spouse or significant other by alerting the spouse if they exit the apartment without supervision.  The device is unobtrusive (no wearing of bracelets, etc)while providing a high level of security.
