Confounding Door Lock February 10, 2016 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Scarsdale, NY United States   Great product.  Great for mom who is in the last stage of dementia.  Cannot budge the door and now has given up trying because it is so difficult.  Easy for caregiver to lock and unlock.  Should have gotten it sooner.

Works on both sides of the door. February 10, 2016 Reviewer: Dianne Munro from White Plains, NY United States   This product stops the patien from exiting. However, the door can not open from the outside.  Someone within the house has to let you in.  I works like a chain.

We use it on the front door without problem since my spouse with dementia is never left alone in the house. Takes less than a minute for folks without dementia to figure out.

Condounding Door Lock September 10, 2015 Reviewer: Marilea Kalvog from Auburn, WA United States   My husband and I are caretakers for my Dad who has Alzheimers.  My Dad started going out the doors at night.  We purchased one lock and tried it out.  Loved it; so we purchased 5 more.  Now our house is totally secure and we can all sleep better at night knowing that my Dad won't wander away and get lost.   Thanks
