The only thing I had to do was adjust the hour of day by a couple of hours!   My mother is in the middle stages of dementia.  She loves this clock and says the lighting on it is very nice - especially at night because it is easy to read and not too bright.   The clock is a subtle way of reminding her what day it is, month and time so that she doesn't feel embarrassed having to ask someone or ashamed that she cannot remember.  When visiting her recently I noticed her frequently looking over at the clock - so I know it was a good purchase!

May 23, 2016 Reviewer: Sandra George from Montebello, CA United States   I bought the calendar day clock for my 80-year-old mother who has Alzheimer's.  She was calling me up to 15 times in one afternoon or evening to ask what day it is in order to mark her wall calendar.  She would often forget she marked her calendar and keep calling becoming confused and frustrated.  When she started calling very late at night or early in the morning, I decided we needed to find a new type of calendar.  The DayClox answered all of our prayers!  I gave it to her the moment it was delivered, took down her old wall calendar and hung it in it's place.  Since that moment, she has not needed to call me once to ask the day or date!!!  Such a simple fix, I wish I would have known about this product months ago.  It was the perfect gift for my mom.  Thank you!!!

May 23, 2016 Reviewer: David Fremit from Calgary, AB Canada   My Mom lost all sense of time after a small stroke.  This clock allows her to orient herself with respect to the day of the week, current time and date much better then a calendar did.  She likes it very much, and I like that she can now tell me what day it is!

The company was very helpful with the problem and directed me how to send it back and they shipped me a new one immediately. Works great! I ordered it for my Dad (Arnold) he is 88 yrs old and has dementia. He was now having trouble reading a clock with hands and confused about the day, date on a calendar. This clock was a great move for him. Thank you, Linda Ovadek

DayClox February 10, 2016 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Arkansas9 United States   Very pleased with purchase of DayClox.  Mother has dementia and had voiced frustration at not knowing day of the week and time of day. The DayClox is perfect and,  although she does not remember this was a Christmas present,  she tells my siblings and her friends how wonderful it is.  The only downside is that it has to be plugged in, which limits where it can be placed. Thankful for the products you offer.
