Instructional Information
Our Premium Cotton weighted products are made by hand(s) in the USA from incredibly soft and durable cotton fabrics. They are breathable, soft and cool to the touch, and will remind you of your favorite pajamas. Each lap/body pad is filled with millions of beads that equally distribute the weight. Weighted sensory products are not meant for warmth, but are designed to apply consistent pressure to the body - they can be used in addition to other throws or comforters for warmth or for sleeping.

How to wash your weighted lap & body pad?
Due to the weight of our weighted products we always recommend hand-washing and line-drying. If you would like to wash your weighted item in a machine, use the gentle -or- hand wash setting, cold water and dry on low. We do not recommend spin cycles as the machine may become unbalanced. Please monitor your machine closely if you decide to use it.
What are our weighted pads filled with?
Millions and millions of glass beads. Why glass? The glass bead is heavier per square inch than poly pellets, so less raw material is required to attain the same weight. Glass beads also make less sound when moved around - this helps those who need sensory products that do not cause noise agitation.
