This seemed perfect for my dad (91) with vascular dementia, who was a master handyman and fixer-upper!  (But is now a taker-aparter!) The package arrived, great shipping time, very well packaged. The box is very nicely made and sturdy; very good quality. The one disappointment I had was that each door did not open to an individual cubby. There are only two main cubbies.  While he was at lunch, we left it in his room, with three surprises inside, and then watched him on his room cam! He was incredibly intrigued; opened and closed many of the doors before taking the surprises out (wrapped individually). And then some, he put back in!  And spun the box around, and opened other doors, maybe forgetting that he put things BACK.  (Hey, an actual benefit to forgetting!)  The latches and closures are right up his alley.  There is nothing else like this on the market that I have found. I'm hoping this continues to be a success, helping him tinker and engaging his mind.  4.8/5

My father with AD was an engineer and later into his disease was unfortunately always taking something apart (electric shavers, doorbell, door knobs, etc.)  When we moved him to assisted living memory care, he needed something to occupy his hands, and this worked very nicely.  We hid treats (cookies, popcorn, chocolate) inside the cubbies.  Dad recently passed away and now my 3 year old nephew plays with and loves it.
